Remember the old school days of enjoying the celebration of Valentine’s Day with your friends? Delight in the brightness of this event as we savor those memories and celebrate as a community! Enjoy a tasty menu of stuffed vegetarian green peppers, roasted chicken, Greek style green beans, fresh salad, seasonal fresh fruit, assorted rolls, dessert, and beverage.

Mather Edgewater Luncheon - Express Pass Program – 2012
So many of you have enjoyed the unique benefits of the Luncheon “Express” program that we are offering it for the seventh year! What is the Express program? It’s the opportunity to pre-pay a year’s worth (11 months) of Mather Edgewater Luncheons to receive a wealth of comfort, time, and cost-savings. In January, 2012, the luncheon price (at the door) will continue to be $9 (Kosher-friendly - $10), while the great value and quality of the experience will continue to grow. When you join the Express program, you pre-pay $80 for 11 luncheons (every month except for November) and receive these extra benefits:

This group provides an exchange of information, moral support, resource sharing, tricks of the trade, and solutions for people with low vision. Meets the second Monday of each month.

Exercise – Mild & Moving
This class helps boost your cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, and balance, all while you move to fun music, standing or sitting in a chair. A former dancer with The Julliard School in New York, instructor Suzanne Harris is a certified physical trainer who also teaches at Galter LifeCenter. Take advantage of this great way to stay fit!

Trip to Milwaukee
Thursday, March 15
The day begins with a delicious lunch at the famous Mader's German Restaurant which includes your choice of sauerbraten, Wiener Schnitzel (pork), or herbed salmon. All entrées include salad, beverage, dessert, and gratuity. After lunch, browse the Wisconsin Cheese Mart, Usinger's Sausage Shop and the Spice Shop. Next, we will travel to the Mitchell Park Domes Conservatory where we will enjoy a guided tour (and time on our won) in the Desert, Tropics, and Floral Show Domes, where a Railway Garden is on exhibit. The Domes are all connected, so the only outdoor walking will be from the bus to the door. Guests must be able to travel on their own or bring someone to assist them.
Check-in: 8:15 a.m. at the Edgewater Presbyterian Church, 1020 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.
Departure: 8:30 a.m.
Return: Approximately 6:30 p.m.
