![]() For Past Participants in LEAP & PREPAREMather LifeWays Institute on Aging is launching a national campaign to identify and catalog promising practices developed in organizations that have participated in the LEAP and PREPARE train-the-trainer workshops. The goal of this initiative is to learn "what is working" and "how it is working" from organizations that have experienced success. Organizations with the most promising practice(s) will be selected to win one of four Mather LifeWays Institute on Aging Promising Practices Awards. Select promising practice(s) developed and employed by organizations across the country will be documented in a report that will be made available to senior living and long-term care communities. Complete the application in seven (7) pages or less by answering the questions about your LEAP or PREPARE program. Award Selection The applications will be reviewed by a team of professionals, including a nurse, an organizational anthropologist, a sociologist, LEAP instructors, PREPARE instructors, and educators. Semi-finalists will be selected, and these applicants will be interviewed via telephone. Winners will be selected after all of the phone interviews are completed.
