![]() Introduction to Caregiving OnlineCaring for older adults can be a task few are fully prepared for. One must have a clear, main course of action with multiple, flexible options in place. This in-depth, five-lesson online course introduces the basics of the caregiver role and explores the challenges and experiences associated with elder-care. Topics include understanding caregiving; current caregiving data and research; and describing the caregiver role as well as the challenges associated with it. Course Lessons:
Classes available 24/7 Classes begin the first Monday of every other month, then move forward at weekly intervals with new topic discussions occurring each week. Participants read course materials, and engage in online discussions, surveys, and live chat sessions. Some lessons include audio or video training sessions.
