Many communities are reporting reductions in nursing staff turnover from 20% to 50% annually. With staff replacements costs of $5,000 to $10,000 per staff position, this translates to significant cost savings.
Significant increases in job satisfaction, leadership effectiveness, work empowerment, and work effectiveness by nursing staff are reported one and two years post-LEAP implementation, demonstrating that this program can produce sustainable change.
