The demand for a qualified long-term care nursing workforce is growing with our aging population. Additionally, consumers want something very different from what currently exists in long-term care services.
The theme of this year’s conference is Teamwork: Partners in Caregiving! We have heard the phrase, “It takes a village,” which is truly applicable in long-term care settings. It takes a team to promote a culture of caring and empowerment among nurses and nursing assistants.
Conference participants will learn from experts in the industry and have opportunities to share experiences with colleagues in developing and sustaining teams that are succeeding in providing person-centered, quality long-term care.
This conference is designed to bring together nurse managers, staff nurses, and nursing assistants who are committed to a culture of caring! Administrators and managers from other disciplines are key team members and are especially invited to attend!
The conference is open to all long-term care communities and organizations – not just for organizations that have implemented LEAP!
Registration
Attendance costs just $35 per person, which includes food, conference materials, and Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
This project is partially supported under the Nurse Education, Practice, and Retention Grant Program, with funds from the Division of Nursing, Bureau of Health Professions, Health Resources and Services Administration, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
