Making Sense of Memory Loss is a five-part, evidenced-based education program for family members and friends of persons in the early stages of memory loss due to Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. This training package enables staff or family members to effectively teach others about the causes and treatments of memory loss and related symptoms, communication strategies, planning for the future, and decision-making skills in everyday life. As a trainer, your materials include a 154-page scripted Leader’s Guide with step-by-step instructions plus a CD-ROM with 80 PowerPoint slides, handouts, marketing templates, evaluation tools, and a Participant’s Guide.
