What's Involved?
Each participant gets instructions to log on to a password-protected website. First, they learn how to use the easy navigational tools, and once the six-part course begins, the class moves forward on interval units to encourage discussion about specific topics each week. Participants log on any time during the week for a few hours by reading the content and participating in discussion boards. Parts of the course also may include watching online videos and listening to two online relaxation exercises.
Technical Requirements
There are minimal technical requirements for participation in Making Sense of Memory Loss Online, such as Internet access and e-mail. Special software and hardware are not needed, and plug-ins are available at no cost, if needed. Free technical assistance is available 24 hours a day via a toll-free number or by email.
Classes Schedule
There will be four classes held in 2008, and the first one begins on May 3. The online courses are based on a first come, first served basis, so you will be enrolled in the next available class if your desired class has closed.
