Able to operate kitchen equipment and tools found within the hospitality/health care industry. Current sanitation certification. Preferred: Formal culinary training.
Activity Coordinator - Mather Pavilion (Evanston, IL)
Activity Coordinator reports to the Manager of Activities and Volunteer Resources. The Activity Coordinator will provide and help coordinate a variety of meaningful activities and social events to assist residents in aging well. Complete all required documentation by due date and in form. Maintain high level of customer service and communication with residents, family & staff. A college degree and/or experience working with older adults, leading programs and/or classes, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer skills are required. You should be a self initiator requiring minimum supervision. The 36 or 42 hour Activity Directors Course is preferred. Experience with Music, Art or Therapeutic Recreation is a plus.

Required: A Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the IL Nurse Aide Registry. Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled care community, good clinical assessment skills and technical knowledge of equipment used in a skilled nursing community, ability to lift, move and position residents, ability to transport residents via a wheelchair, bed and cart, and the ability to push carts is a plus.
