The Sonora Standard
Our standard is to set the bar for staff education and ongoing training, as well as providing meaningful relationships with residents in our care and their family members. Nursing staff are permanently assigned, which results in one-to-one attention and stronger, more satisfying personal relationships. Residents participate in programs and activities that are based on a model of whole-person wellness, which gives attention to six dimensions: social, intellectual, physical, spiritual, emotional, and vocational.
Ways to Excel Staff Training Programs
Mather LifeWays Institute on Aging conducts research and develops training programs for hundreds of senior living residences across the nation and beyond, making it a trusted source for introducing progressive practices and approaches.

In Our Loop™ Family Program
We create an individualized plan of care for each resident and assemble a team that includes specialists from multiple disciplines. Family members are encouraged to be active participants in the development of these plans of care. Staff members also send letters, e-mails, and photos to families.
